'AMLÉ' (Aontas na Mac Léinn in Éirinn) is the new name for the Union of Students in Ireland. It's a direct translation. It came into effect on 13 May 2025. The rebrand reflects the desire of the organisation to promote the use of the Irish Language.
The Union of Students in Ireland invites Postgraduate Research Students to participate in the National Postgraduate Living and Working Conditions Survey. ✏️
This survey aims to explore the experiences of postgraduate students in Ireland, in particular in relation to income and living standards. This survey is intended to form the basis for a campaign to be rolled out by AMLÉ and SIPTU.
